A project that is still in the works. Fun little rocket I've been working on. I will update the files when I figure out how to make it launch higher for now though this is more so a proof of concept. Enjoy!

Forget the 2-liter bottles, just print your own rocket! Thanks for checking it out.

Print Settings

  • All models are in the correct orientation.
  • No need for supports.
  • Rocket is printed at 15% infill in TPU.
  • Launch tube is at 35% in PLA or PLA PRO, I used overture professional.
  • Bs cup is same as the launch tube.
  • Launch pad is optional, but same settings as the launch tube as well.

Steps to launch

  1. Fill launch tube with vinegar-try different levels but don't fill over the cutout inside the tube.
  2. Fill the bs cup with baking soda and place into cutouts, carefully try not to spill any into the vinegar.
  3. Shove the rocket into the tube up to the where the fins meet the body.
  4. Shake and place the tube on the ground.
  5. Retreat and watch the launch.
