The Idea:

  • Insert for The Castles of Burgundy
  • easy accessible organization
  • organized by setup and in game material
  • fast and simple setup and teardown
  • fits the original box insert
  • flush in the box for vertical storage
  • minimizing filament used

Design Process:

  • every component is flush with the original insert
  • I added 6 mm thick (30 x 21 cm) cardboard under the insert, so the box is filled exactly to the brim with the main board, player boards and rule books

  • all trays have chamfers under the game pieces to be grabbed easily without lifting the trays
