Duplo/Brio Car (for Wooden Train Tracks) with coupler system

Remix of original Duplo/Brio Car from timqui - train wagons compatible with Lego Duplo bricks and can run on all basic wooden (Brio) tracks.

In the original model, I missed the possibility to connect wagons to each other - so I decided to modify the model and add a Lego Duplo standard combatible coupler - so now you can simply connect them! :)

Conection between wagons

For simple printing, I decided to use a "male-male" coupler configuration of the wagon - it is possible to connect the individual wagons using a coupling part (in a separate file). I'm still working on a variant of the “male-car-female” configuration that would be easy to print. I hope to be able to add this configuration soon as well.

You can assemble a complete train - you can combine:

• Wagons with a coupler on both sides (for inserted wagons)
  • Purple train in the pictures
• Wagons with a coupler on one side (for the first and last wagons of the train)
  • Green train in the pictures

Also you can connect these wagons to other Lego Duplo compatible vehicles - for example original cars or my other model - Lego Duplo Benchy car-boat as you can see in the last picture of gallery.

Printing and asembling

• You can use PLA, ASA or PETG filament and supports are not needed.
• You will need a little of glue to join the wheel axels.
