Sovol SV06 X-Axis Clamp

It clamps on the bracket of the x axis motor easily. The round protrusions on the inside hold it in place. 

The slot-in piece with the ball joint is just one example of what you could mount at the clamp.

There is a bit of clearance in the slot - to tighten it, put a piece of paper in.

An alternate version could be that the ball joint and the mounting clamp are one piece (no slot feature). But I'm obsessed with modular solutions ;).
