I wanted to find a way to mount a buffer for the MMU2S inside of the Original Prusa Enclosure so that I could take advantage of the higher heat and lower humidity that the enclosure provides while printing. I also wanted it as close to the door as possible for easy access.
What I came up with is a two part solution. The bottom bracket is a tight fit, but attaches to the ears at the bottom of the RMU inspired buffer. The top stabilizer fits between the bottom section and the middle section of the buffer. Both of the parts attach the the metal frame of the Original Prusa Enclosure using M3X8 screws and M3n nuts. The mounting system will not interfere with light/filter controls or the doors.
Mount the bottom bracket to the buffer using m3x20 screws and M3n-S square nuts that are inserted into the bracket. Be careful that the square nuts do not fall out. It is a loose fit. You will need to replace the screws used to attach the middle and bottom sections of the buffer with slightly longer screws to accommodate the for height of the stabilizer.
