I've added simply a hole inside, which can hold a magnet (12mmx3mm). This allows to pin the whole gauge on the workbench and also holds a screw in position while measuring the length.
Used Prusa3D, added a pause after to place the magnet and colour change to edit the font colour.
Perfect tool!!!
