This is probably the most super selective circumstance design i have ever made, but like most things - it took a little work to solve a problem so I figure if anyone else has the exact same problem, this will help.

My mechanism inside my 3 button 2016 Ford Flip Key actually snapped and Key Blade wouldn't stay in place. ( You can see the old mechanism in the background of one of the pictures.)

This thing was a pain to model, and it's not that easy of a print, (supports needed and tight tolerances) If anyone has any interest, I will post the .STEP file to fine tune- provided you supply me with your advancements. :D

The mechanism is tight, but rotates inside the fob with a little finger assistance. Orient the print with the flat part down and the floating center post for the spring hovering. I used a support enforcer in PrusaSlicer to keep the supports to a minimum. The print is paused right before the layer closes around the key blade and the blade is inserted from the top, you may want to tape the key down to the bed if it is not seating properly.

Please let me know if this has helped you! I always love to see other peoples makes.
