As is the usual for me, I recently became dissatisfied with the case I was using for my SKR V1.4 Turbo mainboard on my printer. I grabbed up a CAD model of my mainboard and decided to design my own.

However, that means that this is a design specific to me - I've got some extra holes and such placed specifically for my use case. The big hole in the back is where most the wires come out (the way I've got it wired), then there's two extra holes (one on the left, one on the front) for two other wires I've got going to different places. There's also one hole on the top of the lid for easy access to the bed heater and input power. The idea behind this is to be able to easily check the voltage and amp draw on either connection.

Use M3 screws for the mainboard-to-base connection, as well as the lid-to-base connection. I'm too lazy to check the lengths of the screws…. do it yourself! :p     Use M4 screws and t-nuts for the connection to the extrusion.

This case can be mounted most anywhere along a 2020/2040 extrusion-based 3d printer, but I've designed it to be placed in the back right of an AM8 Y frame. It screws into the right inside extrusion, the lower slot, not the higher slot. In theory, this places the bottom of the case at just the right spot so I can slip a couple felt pads on the bottom of it and it'll not vibrate against my desk.

Feel free to leave a like, and please post a make if you download and use!

I'll have up real-life photos of this soon after I've installed it.
