Hinged case for the eChook nano.

  • Easy, secure mounting to car – 4x M5 bolts, 95x60mm rectangular bolt pattern.
  • PCB Secured to case with 2x M3x8mm bolts and captive M3 nuts (Hex or Square models supplied)
  • Bluetooth module mounting point in lid.
  • Hinged lid provides quick access to Arduino USB port and Bluetooth module.
  • Lid will not close if connectors aren’t fully seated, and won’t allow connectors to pull out once closed.

NOTE: A couple of modifications are needed to the standard eChook nano for it to fit in the case
– the wires for the bluetooth module need to be soldered directly to the PCB, leave them approx 70mm long. (Some strain relief at the join such as hot glue is strongly recommended)
– the ICSP header needs to be removed from the Arduino, either snipped off or de-soldered.

Printing Notes:

Designed for 0.2mm layer height, good layer adhesion is required for the front latch. PETG or ABS/ASA is recommended.

For contrasting logo on the lid, print just the second layer in the contrast colour filament.
