This is a hook used to pull down an attic ladder. The hook needs to be fitted to a wooden dowel (22mm diameter, 1 to 2 metres long (that's ~7/8" diameter, 3-6 feet long for Americans)). Its a tight fit, but I also used drilled a hole through the side, and used a small screw to fasten the hook to the pole to be sure.
I printed in PLA with support and 20% infill. Wall thickness: 1.6mm (4 shells) seems to be strong enough.
Post-Printing
I sanded the hook, undercoated and spray painted with hammer finish paint.
