This is an attempt at combining 3D printing on fabric with mechanical movements.

Requires assembly and troubleshooting so your results may vary. But I'm sharing the files for the experimenters out there. :)

The mechanism prints flat on top of a piece of polyester fabric stabilizer that is taped to the printer bed.

The z-height needs to be adjusted to get a decent print.
On my Prusa Mini I live adjusted the z-height until the layers were clean but still sticking to the fabric

When the print is done you need to trim the excess fabric from the outside and from the slots. Bend a crank out of wire (a paper clip works well) and finish by putting the retainer in place.

I used Pellon brand #50 heavyweight stabilizer for my print but you can probably make it work with other similar fabrics or washi paper
