Thin Air 3D Maker Coin

I designed this model as a filament swatch, but also as a test to make sure I have my filament dialed in well before attempting to print more complex models.

The coin has different types of surfaces, angles, and overhangs that will struggle to print well if you don’t have your slicer settings on point, so if you can print one of these perfectly its a good sign that your settings are pretty good!

Print Orientation:

Flat on either side, no supports.  After printing, surface quality should be good on both top and bottom, and it should be able to balance standing up.  There is a very small cut on the bottom so if you outer surface is off, the coin won’t balance!

Infill: 15-20%
Walls: 2-3 walls (personal preference, but doesn't matter)
