This is a simple fixed webcam bracket custom fit to the C270 that is held onto the Original Prusa Enclosure by a single screw and a zip tie.
The camera is held at center-height on left or right side, at a 25-degree down angle, capturing a reasonable view of the print bed. The screen shot from Octopod running on my iPad shows the view you will see from the camera.
You will need the following parts:
Print the part using the filament of your choice (I used PETG). I used supports on the opening on the back. Clean up the nut slot and screw hole.
Remove the C270 webcam from its original factory bracket by using a tiny screwdriver to pry out the foam plug at the end of the axle and removing the tiny Phillips screw, then pushing out the plastic axle
The C270 should be a slight friction fit in the jaw of the bracket. You can use a zip tie through the axle hole to hold it in place if desired.
Insert the square nut in the provided slot in the part and press in place; it will go to the centerline of the part.
Insert a zip tie in the lower metal loop on the inside of one of the vertical supports of the enclosure; leave the zip tie at the half-way point.
Use the screw to attach the part to the hole that is located half-way up the metal support.
When the webcam is in place and cord arranged you can use the bottom zip tie to attach both support and wire to the enclosure.
