Clip to mount a strobe or similar small accessory to the bottom of a DJI Mini 2. May also be compatible with the original Mavic Mini.
I designed this to mount a Vifly strobe to my DJI Mini 2 without permanently sticking bits of tape or velcro to the body of the drone. The strobe is attached to the bracket using a small piece of VHB tape.
You will need to use a set of riser legs so the strobe clears the ground - I recommend this one from jaln: https://www.printables.com/model/138052-dji-mini-2-light-landing-extenders-propeller-blade
I recommend printing at 0.1mm layer height to help with the steep overhangs - at 0.1mm, my MK3S+ prints the brackets pretty cleanly without support in either PETG or eSun lightweight PLA at maximum foaming temperature, with just a tiny bit of cleanup required.
Set the slicer to at least 5 perimeters to get optimal extrusion paths smoothly around the flexures (I used 9 perimeters).
The attached gcode files are set up with these options.
The drone's arms will still fold up without fouling with the bracket installed, but the propeller strap doesn't fit well with the bracket installed.
You should use the front-most slot for secure mounting, as shown in the pictures. The body of the drone at the rear slot is slightly narrower, and the clip is not as secure in that position.
I recommend printing the legs in lightweight PLA, and consider printing the bracket in lightweight PLA too - if you do both, you should be able to keep the weight just under the 250g mark including the Vifly strobe - but please weigh your own equipment if your local laws require you to stay under 250g.
