The stock air filtration system doesn't do much actual filtering and instead just moves all the fumes from inside the print chamber to outside of it. This should help significantly cut down on the fumes and smells while resin printing, and while idle, completely eliminate any resin smells. This part was designed to fit snugly without any modifications over the original fan filter and clears the resin vat as well as the enclosure.
I used these 4mm charcoal pellets, the canisters used ~0.5 lbs. total when completely topped off: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GN7ZQ70?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
There are 3 main pieces, the main body, the top cover, and the option between a lower filter or a less restrictive plate with holes in it. For the lower filter, you will need to cut a square out of your filter material (I used an old HVAC filter) and clamp it between the two plates with the four screw holes. The screws used in this model are M2x4mm, and they are not required for the top cover but are recommended.
The files in the tight tolerances folder are for printers that have been dimensionally calibrated, the tolerances are less than 0.01mm. The loose tolerance parts range from 0.01mm to 0.02mm in extra tolerance to allow for any imperfections or dimensional inaccuracy.
The main body is the only part that requires supports, everything else can be printed on the bed.
Finally, I've also included the STEP file if anyone wants to modify or make improvements to the design.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
