Watching the video should explain it all, but basically I'm attempting to further develop upon MIT Lincoln Lab's toroidal propeller concept by offering up my design for anyone in the FPV drone community to have a go and see how they like it.
This is my first generation bi-loop or bi-blade design which, now that I think about it, isn't all that great, but it does indeed fly, as demonstrated by a few brave souls on YouTube. It features two blade profiles per loop, however its more symmetrical nature compared to MIT's published design is lacking in strength and rigidity, and as such I'm looking forward to building a better second generation model hopefully soon.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
