We had an issue were purchasing bought the 3 inch inner diameter roll of plotter paper for our large format HP Designjet 800PS which takes a nominal 2 inch diameter roll. We could not return the paper of course because we were on a time crunch to get the posters out the door, so we made do with feeding the paper off of the roll by hand for the dozen posters that needed to be printed. After that run I had had enough of hand feeding the paper roll so I whipped up this adapter for the paper roll. It is a tight fit with the partially used roll so there may be some interference between the roll and plotter on a full roll but I cannot test that. This design should however work on any 2 in plotter to adapt it to a 3 inch roll with the caveat that it is of-course not tested.
