Curtain rod holder for Kirsch wall fittings

A curtain rod holder that accepts rods around 16 mm in diameter. Fits Kirsch wall fittings that are commonly installed in Sweden. Just like the original metal hooks, no tools are required for installation (assuming that the fittings are already mounted).

Take care when placing the curtain rod into the hook as it might snap if the supporting brace is not in place or comes loose during the process. The original hooks also have a slot for screwing them to the wall (which is replicated in this model), but do not attempt this mounting method with the plastic version!

Print settings

Printed in PLA with:

Automatic supports enabled everywhere, “only on build plate” disabled
0.2 mm layer height for the hook, 0.16 mm for the support brace
7.5 % gyroid infill (irrelevant since the perimeters will fill up the inside of the model)
4 perimeters for the hook, 3 for the support brace
3 solid top & bottom layers
5 mm brim due to the small surface area

Adjust as needed, only the supports are required.
