This allows changing the front face of Prusa Mk 2 & 3 LCDs without having to take off and reprint the whole casing for the LCD electronics. Now you can print just the front face to save time and filament.
Use color swapping to get up to 3 different color layers. Here is a guide explaining how this works with Prusaslicer: https://help.prusa3d.com/en/article/color-change_1687
For a different finish than usual, set your top infill pattern to something other than rectilinear. Hilbert Curve is a nice textured option.
6x2mm magnets hold the face on, or you can print the included peg to hold it.
There is a faceplate version for each Prusa Mk 2 and Mk 3, including a blank template to design your own face. There are some remixed knobs modified to fit this width. If the printed knobs are too loose just scale them down in your slicer by 1 or 2%.
The faceplate in the main photo was printed in Prusament galaxy silver and black, and a random orange PLA. The second faceplate was Prusament galaxy black and pearl mouse PLA.
