Description

PDF

For mounting Atomic Pi to DIN rail using Voron DIN-rail-mounts. Board is mounted base (without breakout board) and can safely fit in electronics bay of Voron 2.4.

Printing

No supports needed, print with standard Voron printed parts settings. I printed this using ASA, but ABS should also work.

Assembly

Hardware:

  • 8x M2x10 self-tapping screws

Attach bracket to Voron DIN rail mount, then attach Atomic Pi to brackets.

Design Notes

Part was designed from scratch using Octopus bracket as inspiration; adjustments were needed to clear bottom IO connector. Be careful applying force to the Atomic Pi board; the distance between the board mount and DIN mount can cause the part to crack/break.

It is possible to shorten this distance by reducing the X-clearance and increasing the Z-clearance of the bracket for the IO port, but the board's heatsink is already close to the bottom panel of the electronics bay.
