What ?

A simple tools holder for the 4 most common tools i use on my Bamboo Lab X1 carbon.

  1. Plastic scraper
  2. Bambu lab sharp scraper
  3. Small pliers
  4. Flush cutters

It is designed with a 30mm wide slot on the backside to stick a 1 mm thick double sided tape and to be stuck on the side of the Bamblab x1 / carbon, or for that matter, any printer.

I also made sure that all sharp sides are not facing up, so i don't hurt myself.

Anyway, the spacing and the design is generic enough that it could be used for other purposes. have fun and leave a rating / make :)

The plastic scraper is on printables btw:

Why?

I wanted a very simple design for only 4 tools, no more, i only need those day to day. Rest of the tools can stay in the storage. Seriously, who needs a hot end to replace everyday ?

I did not include a glue stick holder because i use the PEI sheet, i don't need a glue stick daily :)

Many of the designs i've found online are complex and store many tools, moreover, many design it to stick on top of the X1 carobon which i don't like, i want the top to be a sight window, and i don't want to tools to vibrate on top while the printer is printing.

Some other designs rely on magnets to hold the tools on the side, just like the Bambu lab official scraper does, i think that is a bad design, magnets are not strong enough for those vibrations.

How?

Print it diagonally so it fits the bed

There are no special printing instructions.

Normal PLA, Print it in your normal settings with no supports given that you orient it correctly.

It will take 1 to 1.5 hours on normal speed depending on your settings
