After about one year, I had to reprint mine. I am using PETG, so consider using ABS.

Perfect - this is a nice solution. I printed a couple of pairs in ABS and they've rejuvenated the tension mechanism on my recliner. Since I don't have any liquid tape I tried them without, and the friction seems fine. I'm considering trying some TPU though, just to see how that works - I imagine it'll be naturally more grippy, but the supports will be harder to clean up.

UPDATE: TPU works well. It's naturally a lot more grippy, so the tension knob is easier to tighten. (edited)

@Chris_Hill Glad it is helping! I also deigned a stool support in about a minute like the one you made.. I never thought of sharing that one, so I am thrilled that you did share it and other Ekornes pieces!

@hwmonkey_125898 Further update: TPU turned out to be a bit TOO grippy - even when the knob was slackened off the reclining motion was no longer smooth - it was a bit jerky. So I now have a hybrid setup - ABS for the inner pad on each side of the chair and TPU for the outer pad. Now it's just right - smooth but easy to tighten.

Do you have a model for the footstool slider piece?

@JacquiPark_1319574 If you mean the six small circular feet on the underside of the footstool base, I've now uploaded a model for that, together with a couple of other Stressless parts: https://www.printables.com/model/870970-ekornes-stressless-parts
