Description

PDF

This is intended to be a quick test bed for determining the shape and length of the evasé to get even flow thru the filter stack, as well as determine the length of the filter stack. Cannisters stack together and everything connects via threads. One screw to hold the blower.

This can be used for solder extraction or lay it in your 3D printer. In it's current design, it's not intended to be mounted to anything.

See https://github.com/nevermore3d for mounted versions of filter. These typically require more hardware, threaded inserts and magnets to build.

The evasé was designed using this article as a reference.  These are typically flat edge designs, here we went to a round profile to use threading to connect things. The thread used is based on a 50mm x 3mm thread, modified for lots of thread allowance/clearance.
