STL and 3MF files for the whole frame are included for larger printers with a printable area of at least 220x310mm, as well as a two-part split print for smaller print beds down to 220x160mm.
Supports are recommended as the bevelling surrounding the Home button and the screen results in a bridge between the home button and the screen cut-outs, and the “teeth” used for alignment on the split-print may require supports if your printer doesn't like 45º overhangs.
If your print has a gap between the two halves, use an appropriate adhesive or filler between the two halves, test-fit to your iPad, and remove the iPad before the adhesive/filler fully cures. The teeth should help with alignment and adhesion if this step is required.
A light sand and/or a top-coat of etch-primer may help to smooth any artefacts present, particularly on bevelled edges, or to cover any filler used between the two halves.
The "teeth" at the central seams of the split parts are intended to help with alignment and minimise the appearance of any dimensional inaccuracy in the print when printing the split parts.
