I made a bracket for some filament spool shelves, loosely inspired by several other models I've seen online. I couldn't find one where the bracket itself wouldn't interfere with placing spools on the shelf though, so I made my own.

This shelf is made with 3 of these brackets, 2 3ft long 1/2in outer diameter aluminum pipes (because I live in the land that hates the metric system for some reason), and a handful of screws I had lying around ( 2 screws per bracket). No idea what screws they are but I made the holes for them 4.5mm diameter for the screw and 8.5mm diameter for the screw head.

I also included the Fusion 360 file that's mostly parametrically modeled, in case anyone wants to customize it for the parts they have available to them.

I printed the brackets at 0.2mm layer height, 4 perimeters, and 50% infill in the arm part of it with 10% infill in the body part that mounts to the wall to cut down on print time a little bit.

I used 3DFuel Pro PLA as the material, which is supposed to be an “ABS-like” PLA. I originally didn't have a bracket in the center, and the amount of filament placed on the shelf in the pictures is about as much as I'd be comfortable putting on it for the long term. I'd recommend using a material that's a bit stronger if you're making a larger shelf.
