The Festool bluetooth remote module is not compatible with the CTL SYS. Someone already created a solution to make the bluetooth kit compatible: (https://github.com/jenskueper/festool-ctl-sys-bluetooth).

Inspired by this solution I created a variant using a simple 433MHz based potential-free relay

  • Assemble remote by placing pcb in base and screwing on the top using self-tapping screws.
  • Slide remote over suction hose by removing the connecting sleeve first
  • wire the receiver PCB (brown to L, blue to N, Red to 6, black to 5)
  • mount receiver PCB into brackets using self-tapping screws.

  • Pair the receiver and the remote in toggle mode according to the manual
