In this remix I changed the kind of exotic thread type of the original design, which I couldn't figure out, to a more common Whitworth pipe thread and added a hexagonal part in the middle so the coupler can be fastened with a wrench while tightening the nuts. I also had problems to tighten the nuts properly with the original design, which know is no problem anymore.
I guess the downside of this type of self centering coupler is that it only makes sense on a motor shaft which doesn't have a flat portion for a grub screw, which unfortunately a lot of stepper motors have.
