Hello there, I had an existing ¾ inch conduit body where I wanted to mount a wired Ring Floodlight camera. So I built this adapter to use the metal adapter ring includes with each camera. The adapter screws onto the electrical conduit body holding the floodlight camera up. To install:

  1. Print the part with a PETG
  2. Attach the metal adapter the floodlight camera came with to the adapter. I used 8/32 nuts, washers and bolts.
  3. Make sure all power is off and test for power and retest, repeat 3 more times to be absolutely sure you are safe.
  4. Carefully strip each wire to expose copper, and thread each wire through the printed adapters wire slot (above the central hole). Once wires are in, turn the adapters and the electrical wires counter-clockwise about 3-4 times (this will counteract the screwing motion entanglement in the next step.)
  5. Thread Screw the adapter to the conduit, undoing the three turns you did prior.
  6. Carefully connect black to black, white to white and the neutral wires together with the provided electrical wire nuts.
  7. Attach the floodlight cam mount to the attached adapters. I used 10/24 bolt.
  8. Tuck the wires away triple checking that the nuts are intact and that the nuts are as far apart as possible.
  9. Attach your ring cam and use the ring app to connect.
  10. Leave back comments please!
