This basic watering can holds nearly 1.5 liters of water and pours with a very clean, laminar stream of water to allow you to precisely target where you want to deliver vital liquids to your potted plants.
Thick, 3mm+ walls are easily watertight, if you print with proper settings, and no supports are needed if you have proper cooling.
Three different models are provided with tight to loose clearances to allow for different printers to have the best chance at succeeding. Print the nozzle and test it against each of the test fit pieces to see which one provides the tightest fit that you can still manage to fasten together. My Prusa MK3S is able to make use of the model with a 0.35mm clearance.
The test pieces will also allow you to dial in your print settings to ensure no supports are needed and the model comes out with the best possible finish.
You can expect to use around 250 grams of standard PLA. I used Polymaker PolyLite matte PLA which is nearly 25% lighter than standard PLA, giving the can a nice, soft finish and a light feel in the hand.
