A stout custom tray, beefy enough for everyday use, has been accented with a breaching Humpback Whale. It's ocean sized (about 8 inches across) so it will keep all your gear in one place.
While printing the whale the loose fin acts as a support. No additional supports are needed. If you have bed adhesion issues, particularly with the fin use a brim. Once the print is done, separate the fin . Should you get overly excited at this step and, have a problem, the fin is included as a stand-alone file. That way you can redo the fin without starting from scratch. Glue the fin to the whale with epoxy or supper glue
Printing the tray is easy. Enabling ironing will help to keep it smooth. When the print is done affix the whale to the splash.
The photos show the whale in Inland Egyptian Blue and the tray in Inland Blue. The Egyptian blue is a middle of the road blue that really works well here. There are options though. You could print it in dark blue if you wanted it to blend into the background. Any number of transparent or sparkly blues would give it an air of fantasy. Alternatively the whale could be painted to match it's natural skin tones.
Happy printing!
