This is my collection of accessories for my IKEA Hällan cabinet that I use as a printer enclosure. The collection will likely grow with time…
The air filter for this uses a standard 120 mm computer fan, a vacuum cleaner HEPA filter (124x110x30 mm) and a sheet of kitchen fan carbon filter. Attached to the back of the cabinet (where I cut out a 110 mm hole) and held together with M4 screws.
This spool holder sits in the slits for the shelves. This model is for the front left, or the right back corner of the cabinet (mirror it for the other two positions).
I've placed the filament holder on the lower shelf of the cabinet, and therefore a hole is needed in the upper shelf to pass the filament through. This cuff protects the filament from the sharp edges of the hole. Use a 10 mm drill and then press fit the two halves of the cuff in the hole.
In the top of the cabinet I've placed LED strips for lighting. These are standard, raw WS2812 strips and are supposed to be attached with the tape on the back of the strip. I don't like that tape. Instead I designed these clips that attach directly to the cabinet.
This holds a hygrometer/thermometer and uses the shelf slits, just like the spool holder. A regular 2-ish mm wood screw is screwed in the hole and used to hang the thermometer.
To power the fan for the air filter I'm using a 24V to 12V transformer, attached directly to the printer PSU. To keep it out of the way I made this holder that hangs directly under the printer shelf, from the shelf slits just like the other holders in the collection.
This is a tool wall I made for the cabinet, but it has so many parts I decided to publish it as it's own model that you'll find here.
To be able to stop a print quickly I've mounted an emergency stop button just inside the doorframe. It's just a simple holder for a small push button that when pressed sends the command to stop to the printer.
