Honda S2000 Gentex Mirror Mounting Adapter

Adapter for using the mirror stalk from a stock mirror on a Gentex homelink / backup mirror. 

Assembly:

1. Original stalk must be removed from the stock mirror - only way I could get it out was to cut the back of the mirror off.
2. Save the stalk, and the metal plate with the dimple
3. Open the gentex mirror by splitting in half along the front bezel seam
4. Unscrew gentex mount, line up new printed mount and drill the 6 holes
5. Assemble the new clamp in a sandwich, reuse the dimple plate from stock mirror (trim to size) and screw down TIGHTLY.
6. Enjoy your modernized mirror!
