CPAP AirMini Tube to Hair Dryer Adapter

This is an adapter to connect a ResMed AirMini CPAP tube to a Conair Testarossa hair dryer.

Update 2024-04-27: there is a new file, CPAP AirMini Interface Only 44-12.stl, that is just the AirMini connector brought down to a 44mm circle base with 12mm cutout for the air passage. You can use this to remix the AirMini adapter.

Printing instructions

• Print the adapter .stl file as-oriented.
• There's not a lot of surface contact area; you may have first layer adhesion issues depending on your material and slicer settings.
• I printed several iterations of this in PETG on the satin sheet perfectly with no brim.

Safety warnings

• Follow the cleaning procedure specified by your CPAP manufacturer
• If you are still considering using this adapter, choose an appropriate 3D printing process and materials
• Make sure to use the cold air-only feature of the hair dryer

Notes

• I designed this model in OpenSCAD and it's fully parameterized. If you'd like a simple modification (i.e., hair dryer diameter, clip size, etc.) for a different hair dryer, send me some measurements and I'll see what I can do.
