Hi there, thank you for looking at my HEPA filter model for the Original Prusa Enclosure . There are many similar models but I wanted to build and share one specifically to fit this enclosure with parts cheap and readily available on Amazon in the USA.
I've experimented with USB connected PC fans 120mm + and none have the suction a true HEPA filter needs. Most of the fumes created are .01-.05 microns so the smaller particles (.001-.03) will still escape this system, but it is a good start. The AC infinity fan is strong and creates a great negative pressure (tested with smoke machine and saw the fan/filter working effectively). Another benefit to this fan is the precise measurements of the mounting holes, they align perfectly with the enclosures holes, though they will need a little widening to accommodate the included screws. The screws are also a bit long so cutting ~¼ inch or so will help fit the HEPA filter better. The filters are fairly well made and include a charcoal filter before the HEPA as well. Both the fan and the filters have a flow direction signage to help reduce confusion and make installation easier. Be sure to cut out the enclosure screen before installing (I failed to do this and it was a funny reinstall). The fan comes with rubber washers which reduces decibel levels and vibrations. It is not silent but I registered about 34 decibels right next to the fan.
Things you will need (all the hardware is included in the fan):
