Japanese Lantern
A Japanese lantern based on the design of ProgressTH, however an improvement to his original design since this does not require glue and you do not have to hold the pieces awkwardly to assemble the lantern.
The lantern consists of the following number of parts:
The assembly can be seen in the photos.
Infill: 20%
Support: See photos
Filament used: Overture Rock PLA
Fixed bolts and display bolts
Just to clarify the bolts are different where the ‘Fixed bolts’ are meant for holding the bearing element and can be inserted through the bearing elements and the foundation's pillars. The display bolts are purely non-functional and I have chosen to print them separately since it improves the aesthetics rather having them printed directly with the foundation.
The stand can be found in the original design.
