I really liked the WiFi Sync Clock, but didn't like stalling the stepper motor when setting the  original time.  This remix contains a new version of the second hand, and an insert that interfaces with the stepper motor.

The new second hand is identical to the original, but reamed out to accept the insert.

The insert is a sleeve that fits snugly inside the second hand shaft.  This allows for slippage between the second hand and the insert, thus eliminating the need to stall the stepper.

I tried a shorter insert length, but it didn't provide enough friction.  The final design lengthens the insert to the whole length of the second hand shaft, and provides good friction, but enough slippage to avoid stalling the stepper.

The OpenSCAD file is attached for anyone needing to adjust for their printer.  The settings work great with my MakerGear M2.  The clearance between the shaft and the insert can be changed via the "InsertDClearance" variable in the SCAD file.
