Catdad Workshops designed an absolutely beautiful midcentury modern lamp. I loved the design, but noted that it mostly snaps together. My kids saw it and wanted one, so I decided to remix it to make it screw together and hopefully be a bit more solid, and suitable for kids which might knock it over. I also made the legs round, and added spots for rubber feet (optional).
See the original model by Catdad's Workshop for links to the light socket, cord, and switch. For rubber feet (optional), use ½" rubber cabinet bumpers.
Sadly, the original Catdad Workshops lampshades are not immediately compatible, as I had to increase the diameter of the bulb socket holder for threads to fit.
As a result, I've included the original lamp shade with an increased inner diameter for the bulb socket holder, as well as a negative part that you can use to convert any lamp shade. You can add the lamp shade of your choice to PrusaSlicer, add a modifier to fill in the bottom, and then add the negative part to cut out the right-sized hole and tabs.
I've also added a spot for rubber feet. There are two versions of the Lamp Base, one for rubber feet, and one without rubber feet.
Just screw everything together! Note that the threaded lock ring that comes with the light is used to lock the bulb holder into place. For larger bulbs, you made have to install the shade before screwing in the bulb.
