Axe Throwing Trophy

This model was created at the request of a customer. It is available here for free under a non-commercial/no derivatives license - please dont be that person trying to sell these! That said, this model is awesome to print and assemble. The pins were modeled directly in oculus medium as part of the primary sculpt and work perfectly to keep things aligned. There is no glue required for assembly and only some supports are necessary for the hand. The trophies are very tough when assembled and can be dropped from waist height pretty safely without taking damage. *Note the pins have all been sized down 7% relative to the parts they insert into. You may need to play with this scale ratio a bit based on your printer's output.*

Post-Printing

Assembling the hand around the handle required a bit of heat gun on the hand to soften the plastic and allow it to flex a bit. This could probably be reduced/eliminated by adjusting the scale ratio of each. Also, I had to insert one pin into the bottom of the handle and one into the pedestal, then flex both pins slightly as I slid the pedestal and hand/handle assembly together. It's a little tight, but its a good thing after it's together!
