My son is a fan of One Piece, and having most of the published volumes, I decided to design a bookmark for him.
The design goals was to have a slim as possible leg that can be inserted in the book, and having the Straw Hat Pirates emblem out of the book.
Hope you will be able to print and enjoy this little bookmark as well.
The model is very simple, it is composed by a single (one piece) printed part.
The emblem was imported from a vector image format (SVG) into Fusion360, and from there all the magic was added.
It has 5 groups of layers, each group is to be printed in a different color, to do so, you need to instruct your Slicer software (I use Prusa Slicer) to do a color change on the corresponding layer.
If you print with a layer height of 0.2 mm, then the color changes are at layers 4,7,10,13 which correspond to the heights of 0.8mm, 1.4mm, 2.0mm and 2.6mm respectively.
For the color change, I followed the instructions in “Color Change” page of the PrusaSlicer documentation.
I printed the model using my Prusa MINI+ Printer using the following parameters:
Nozzle: | 0.4mm |
Layer Height: | 0.15mm or 0.2mm |
Perimeters: | 2 |
Infill: | Gyroid 15% |
Supports: | None |
Filament Type: | eSUN PLA+ (Any PLA or even PETG filament can be used) |
Material consumed: | 1.01mt. (~ 3grams) |
Estimated Print time: | ~ 20min |
And the most important: Happy printing & Greetings from the Galilee.
Hope it was not TL;DR
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
