I could have bought a picture frame.
I could have downloaded a preexisting picture frame.
But I decided, when I found a treasured photo of my deceased father, that I would design my own picture frame and back. This is not a perfect picture frame, but it is my first one.
You print the frame, and the front's texture is whatever your bed is. Glass? It'll be smooth. Textured PEI? It'll be textured. The frame has legs in the back, and I think the angle looks pretty good. If you don't like the angle, let me know. Maybe I'll make a new version with better legs!
The back fits loosely. You'll probably want to just use tape, that's what I did.
I printed this in Overland Transparent PETG, and it looks gorgeous. I can see the infill, and it's perfect. Your mileage may vary.
I've been publishing simple but fun items over on Thingiverse, and this is my first model I've created and published just for Printables. Please be kind.
