For storing electrical wire, I designed these spools. They can hold up to 20 m of 0,14 mm² (AWG25 / AWG26) wire.

The holders should be printed as designed, then they only need little supports under the wire end brackets. Adjust the slicer's overhang angle to 35°, if necessary to prevent excessive support generation. I used PETG for the holders to have them nice and flexible.

The cores are designed to print without supports. I recommend random seam placement. PLA is enough for the cores.

If you want to, you can mount many holders on M4 threaded rods. Feel free to print some of the little spacers to go in between the cores. Print another set of mirrored spacers (using the mirror function in your slicer) for the other side.
