This model is a remix of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4340836 which itself is a remix of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3252061.
This is a mount for KitchenAid stand mixer accessories which is intended to have an embedded magnet, in order to allow you to attach it to the underside of a magnetic surface--in my case, my microwave.
This model has some parametric variables in case you have a different size or strength magnet and want to adjust. The model as designed fits these magnets from McMaster Carr: https://www.mcmaster.com/5862K111/
My model has been measured and created from scratch and does not actually use any measurements from the originals from which it draws inspiration.
Feel free to Buy Me a Coffee if you like what I've done.
My Slicer project configuration is included as a download for reference, but I printed as follows:
Supports:
Yes - Strongly recommended on obvious overhang
Resolution:
0.2mm
Infill:
5-10%
Filament_material:
Doesn't matter too much. PETG might be better but I used PLA as these don't hold a lot of weight
Notes:
My print project is included to illustrate where I added supports, and it also includes a pause at 6mm in order to allow for embedding of the magnet.
The author remixed this model.
This model now uses magnets rather than screws to mount so it can be attached to the underside of an installed microwave. It is also more parametric, and fits my attachments a bit better.
