The Jonsbo N1 is a sleek and modern RAID tower case perfect for a DIY home office server. Set up as a virtualization server, however, the CPU and mainboard area becomes hotter than ideal. Air from the front fan disperses en route, scatters by the fan's rear gap and the HDD side vents.
My solution is seal the draft, block the fan and HDD gaps, to create a duct that better channel air to the CPU and mainboard. Pair this upgrade with my Jonsbo N1 high flow frontplate (style R1 SQ HF) for better intake air flow with one less restriction.
