This switch cover fits to many distribution sockets, including the one from IKEA. The IKEA version is a bit special, as it has the switch mounted countersunk in the overall design. This leaves only very little space around the switch, too little for similar designs of switch covers. This design is specifically made to deal with this difficulty, but also fits all other switchable distribution sockets that I had come across so far.
Printing these parts is very easy. Just print them in the uploaded orientation. I recommend at least 3 perimeters and 100% infill, to make them strong. They don't need much material anyway. I recommend PETG over PLA to due it's flexibility that prevents it from breaking when you force in the screws (see assembly below).
All you need in addition to the two printed parts are two screws M3x6. They can simply be forced in and will be sitting tight enough to not change their position later in use. Just drive them in until they sit tight, then loosen them a bit to make the lid of the cover be moveable with some light force.
The whole assembly can be glued to the frame of the switch in the distribution socket with superglue or with double sided tape.
Your satisfaction is my reward. Please let me know if you like it by giving it a like. Or even better, post a picture of your make to let me know how you use this design. That totally makes my day.
Happy printing!
