Spell tracker for Dungeons and Dragons. Spelltrackers and health counters are real lifesavers when playing D&D. Especially since using paper is way inferior. Designed so there are no loose pieces you have to keep track off or can lose. Me and my friends use these trackers all the time when playing D&D.

USING THE SWITCHES

When done printing the switches the pieces are stiff. To start using the switches you need to break them in. This is done by grabbing the long end between your fingers and applying force on the other and pushing them onto a surface.

The Switches can be connected in any slicer by placing them right next to eachother causing them to form one piece. Just in case I have added the entire set of switches for the board and loose switches of all needed sizes.

The print is pretty easy as the only major obstacle might be adhesion. The switches click in the board easily and stay there. Some might be more loose than others. A few drops of super glue can fix.

Notes:

Supports are optional. Printing the switches can be done without. I have printed five Trackers some switches had support some didn't. I cannot really tell the difference in quality. Exept for a rattling noise with the first few uses of the switches when printed with support.

How I Designed This ===================

All pieces are made with Solidworks.

The designs are pretty easy seeing as how they all are based on rectangles.

The switches were the starting point. They were made to have a certain gap value that I got from a Maker's Muse video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7JhjhgjchfM

The Board itself was not that hard. The main thing was adding the rounded corners and ramps for a better look.

The images on the board were a lot of work. If you have a Solidworks file open you are able to drag and drop an image in. This image can serve as reference. I dragged the images I chose right over where I wanted them. After that I started using the line tool and just connecting every point of importance. Then to fisnish of I used the Spline tool to refine the edges and contours of the images.
