This is a pretty simple spool holder that's meant to be mounted on top of the Original Prusa Enclosure. It can hold up to six 1 kg spools of filament and is only intended to be used for storage (i.e. not to hold filament that's actively feeding the extruder). The top of the enclosure has several holes that are not utilized as part of the main install, so I designed this to be mounted using six holes towards the back of the enclosure.
Recommended Print Settings:
Material: PETG
Layer Height: 0.2mm
Infill: 20% Cubic
Supports: none (print with the rail connectors facing up)
Installation Procedure:
In order to fasten the parts to the enclosure, you'll need the following:
I had plenty of these parts left over from the enclosure install, so check the spares that came with it and you should hopefully have enough. The nuts fit into the hexagonal slots in the side parts, and then you need to install the screws from the inside out so that they catch the nuts (this will secure the parts to the enclosure). I'd recommend fastening one of the side parts first, and then sliding the rails on. From there, slide the other side piece onto the two rails until everything is flush. You should then be able to fasten the other side part. NOTE: If you have the air filter add-on installed in your enclosure, you'll have to be very careful fastening the rear-most screw on the right side part.
