I made this model for blunt headed darts to fit a .625 caliber cold steel blowgun for when you want to shoot something but don't want a hole in it. The dart fits well inside the blowgun, it snaps into the anti-inhalation device with a good fit, sits inside the barrel with a close fit but easy slide, flies accurately, and hits hard. My son and I were shooting lego models with it and they were exploding which was quite fun!
The sphere is .620, the cones major diameter is .620, the stem is 1.8", for an OAL of 2.80".
Printed on Ender 3 Max Neo with Overture PLA Pro Black.
PrusaSlicer Settings: First Layer temps 220/65, First layer height 0.2, other layer height 0.15, other layers temp 201/60, Infill 100%, Brim 1mm, no supports, first layer speed 15mm/s, perimeters 50mm/s, external and small perimeters 30mm/s, solid infill 50mm/s, top solid fill 40mm/s, cooling = enable auto cooling, disable “keep fan always on”, disable fan for first 2 layers.
My thin wall heat settings should be lower according to all my tests. The inside of the cone has bumps/drips where the plastic was too liquid for what amounts to be a two-pass wall thickness. I know it's not much, but on my printer lowering the temp to 200 would almost eliminate that issue as I have printed almost all of the surprise eggs at 100% design size with great results using 200/60.
