Disclaimer : This frame was designed at the beginning of 2020 and files migrated here in jan 2023 from thingiverse. While the frame is still usable as of today (AIO FC mount, 9mm motor mounts the accessories may be irrelevant in some cases).

------

Mango is a small frame intended for utralight top mounted 2" or 65mm/2.5" quadcopter setups. It was designed with Matthew Nguyen and the main goal was to be super minimalistic and light. The weight of the frame is on par with a toothpick and yet have a top plate.

There are currently 3 versions all are for 9mm/4hole motors, HM pattern to be done as well :

  • TrueX 2" frame
  • Deatcat-ish layout (front arms flat) 2" and 65mm/2.5" frame
  • TrueX 65mm/2.5" frame

Matthew's specs :

  • super light (5.5g of carbon for the 2" and 7.5g for the 65mm)
  • top mounted battery (1-2S)
  • low profile (7-10mm)
  • 110x motors (9mm mount, 4 holes)
  • the top plate is the same for all variants

Get this frame cut in carbon fiber

As always you can use the DXF files and get it cut following your specs at any CNC service you like.  My recommended places are :

Great quality cuts and fair pricing/delivery time.

Get the dxf files and send them to the services mentioned above. Here are some cutting guidelines :

  • Top plate : 1mm carbon fiber
  • 2" frame : 1.5mm carbon fiber
  • 65mm/2.5" : 2mm carbon fiber

You will need 4 additional M2-10mm standoffs (Use nylon ones for weight saving)
