ISO 7010 has warnings symbols for all kinds of stuff but it doesn't cover everything. I wanted to make warnings for some of the things the ISO missed.  I wanted them to be triangular like the ISO symbols and about 80mm (~3 inches) on a side. And I wanted to be able to display them on a desk or stick them to a refrigerator or metal office furniture.

Design

First I created a blank symbol in Fusion 360. I went with an art area 75mm on a side (remember we're talking triangles!) and a 4mm border. I added pockets for four 8x3mm magnets.

For display on a desk or shelf I created a simple stand that holds three magnets that line up with the lower three magnets in the symbol.

I created the artwork for each symbol in Adobe Illustrator and exported it as a SVG. Back in Fusion I created a new copy of the blank symbol, created a new sketch on the artwork surface, imported the SVG, scaled & positioned it in the sketch and then extruded it to the same height as the border. Finally I exported each symbol as a 3MF.

Slicing

I opened up each 3MF in PrusaSlicer 2.5.0, added a pause for placing the magnets and then a color change for the border and artwork. Nothing else special was needed. The symbols are flat so there's no need for supports.

For the stand I bumped the vertical perimeters up to 4 and set the seam position to rear.

Printing

I ran mine on a MK3S with Revo V6. I used a 0.4mm nozzle and 0.2mm layer height. So far I've only used Jessie PLA but any filament should work.

Since the magnet pockets on the stand are at an angle they cannot be printed over, so I glued them in place with a five minute epoxy.
