On the original Dice Tower Makes page there were some who redesigned the hinges to make them more sturdy.
My hinges broke after a drop from the table, so I tried to design braces to make glueing it more easy.
The idea was to have a offset of 0,2 mm to allow for glue & uneven printing, snap the broken ones in, add glue everywhere and glue everything back together.
This worked well until I realized that I didn't account for the bottom of the original models and my original design didn't let me put the dice traps flat on the table anymore…
I redesigned it to take this in account, but I didn't have the original broken off pieces anymore so I also made a new hinge that is filled out.
This filled out design leaves a bit room for the broken off parts of the dice traps as a glueing guide, which I think is very helpful.
I hope the 2 designs can fit all your fixing or reinforcing needs ^^
The author remixed this model.
